These guidelines explain what you can and cannot include in your OfferUp Pro listings. To help your items shine and ensure a smooth selling experience, follow these guidelines to create your listings.
Note
OfferUp may remove any listings that do not adhere to these guidelines.
Photos
- Include 1 to 12 clear, well-lit, and accurate photos of the item.
- Photos should only show the item being sold, not multiple items.
- Photos must depict the actual item for sale, not advertisements or promotions.
- Photos should not include any text, banners, stickers, or pricing information.
- Photos should not include any contact information.
- Photos should not be stock photos, photos taken from other websites, or photos that infringe on others' intellectual property.
Title
- Use a clear and accurate title that describes your item.
- Do not include contact information, website URLs, or physical addresses in the title.
Description
- Provide accurate details about your item in the description.
- Do not include any contact information, website URLs, or physical addresses in the description.
- You may include financing, custom pricing, and down payment information here if you list the full price in the Price field.
- Do not solicit risky payment methods like wire transfers, cryptocurrency, or gift cards.
Category
- Post your item in the correct category.
- Do not select an inaccurate category to avoid listing fees.
Condition
- Select the condition that most accurately reflects your item's true state.
Price
- List the full price of the item.
- Do not include financing, custom pricing, and down payment information here; this belongs in the Description field.
- The price should be reasonable and not significantly higher or lower than the standard market value.
Location
- The item's location should accurately reflect where it is within the United States.
Additional restrictions
No duplicate listings: Avoid creating more than one listing for the exact same item. If you have multiple quantities of the same item, post them one at a time. Once an item sells, you can then post the next one.
Single category only: Do not post the same item in more than one category. Each item should only appear in a single, relevant category.
