Update your listing status
Use Business Portal to update the status of any of your listings.
Mark as sold
Use this status when you sell your item. Marking a listing as sold removes it from the live feed which tells buyers that the item is no longer available.
To update a listing’s status to sold:
- On the My Listings page, locate the listing you want to mark sold.
- Under the Actions column, click Mark Sold. Note: Only listings in a For Sale status can be marked as sold.
- You’ll see a Marked Sold confirmation pop-up.
NOTE
This is a permanent action that cannot be undone. Additionally, listings marked as sold cannot be edited.
Archiving your listings
Use this status when you want to remove listings from the live feed on OfferUp. This removal can be temporary or permanent, depending on your needs. We recommend that you always archive listings after you’ve marked them as sold. This keeps your My Listings page organized and clutter-free.

- On the Archive Listings pop-up, click Archive to confirm your selection.
Archiving takes some time to process in the background. The duration depends on the number of listings being archived at once. Check back later to see if the archiving has been processed.
