Use OfferUp Business Portal to create and post your listings faster. With the Create Listings feature, you can easily make multiple listings, save drafts, and post directly to the feed from your laptop or desktop computer.
Note
The Create Listings feature is only available on desktop web browsers, not on mobile web browsers. To use this feature, you’ll need your computer. Alternatively, you can use our mobile app to create individual listings on your smartphone.
Create your drafts
Use Business Portal on a web browser to create drafts in bulk. There are 2 ways to create drafts.
You can manually create up to 200 drafts at once using the Create More button. These drafts will initially be incomplete, with all fields left blank. You will need to add photos and manually enter the required details to complete each draft.
To create drafts manually:
- Visit OfferUp.com and log in to your account.
- In the top navigation menu, click Business to open the portal.
- On the Creating Listings page, click Create More.
- On the Create More pop-up, enter the number of draft listings you want to create (max 200), then click Create.
After creating your drafts, click on any one to open it, then follow the prompts to add photos and fill in the required fields.
You can create up to 200 drafts at once using the Upload Spreadsheet button. First, download our template and enter your data. Then, upload the completed file back to the portal. These drafts will be partially complete, with most fields prefilled using your spreadsheet data. You will only need to add photos and fill in any missing details to complete each draft.
To create drafts using a spreadsheet upload:
- Visit OfferUp.com and log in to your account.
- In the top navigation menu, click Business to open the portal.
- On the Create Listings page, click Upload Spreadsheet.
- Click Download Template to save a copy of the template to your computer.
- Add your item details to the template. Optional: Include photos by pasting in the image URLs.
- Save or export the template as a .CSV or .XLSX file. Any other file formats will fail to upload.
- Go back to the Create Listing page, click Upload Spreadsheet > Upload Spreadsheet.
After creating your drafts, click on any one to open it, then follow the prompts to fill in any missing details.
To ensure your spreadsheet uploads successfully, follow these tips:
- Do not modify or delete any of the text in the first 4 rows of the template.
- Do not add or remove any columns in the template.
- Use any of the following programs to create and edit the template:
- Microsoft Excel
- Google Sheets
- iWork Numbers
- Save the template as an Excel file (XLSX) or a Comma Separated Values (CSV) file before uploading it to the portal. Any other file formats will fail to upload.
- Double-check that your template includes all the data you want to upload. If data is missing after the upload, it’s usually due to input errors or fields left blank.
- Make sure each item is assigned to the correct category. If a category doesn’t match our guidelines, it may be automatically adjusted during the upload process.
